Ovaltine Protein Recovery Shake Recipe!
Who doesn't love Ovaltine? Eh, maybe it is because I am an 80's kid. But I love the stuff! Some people are a little too "clean" to add Ovaltine into a protein shake. I say buzz off, a little Ovaltine ain't gonna kill no one. This shake recipe is going to give you a good amount of protein, collagen, low carbs and healthy fats. So add everything in the recipe below and blend it up!
INGREDIENTS 1 Scoop Vital Proteins Collagen 1 Scoop ISO 100 Protein (Gourmet Chocolate) 4 Ounces Milkadamia Milk or Cashew Milk 1 Scoop Glutamine (Unflavored, Any Kind) 2 TBSP Chocolate Malt Ovaltine 1 TBSP Peanut Butter or Cashew Butter 1 Handful of Ice
DIRECTIONS Throw all ingredients but the ice in a blender (I use a Personal Size Vitamix). Blend for 5-10 seconds. Then throw in the ice and blend until you get a frosty like consistency! Usually under 30 seconds. Enjoy!
