Walking Tacos Recipe (Awesome Camping Food!)

I can remember the day my wife said we were going to make walking tacos on our car camping trip. It was years ago. My brain was trying to process what that meant. "Walking Tacos". I did not think much of it as she always makes great food. We got the campsite and setup our gear. We were to have the walking tacos the next day for lunch. So the next day came and it was time for walking tacos. I began to ask questions like "what the hell is a walking taco". When she explained it to me I was skeptical. But once I threw it together and began eating it, the walking taco became my favorite car camping meal! You just make the meat according to the package of taco seasoning, then throw into a personal or snack sized bag of corn chips, like Doritos, and then add whatever you would like. I like to add sour cream, cheese, black olives, shredded lettuce and salsa. I like to crunch up the bag before adding anything to make the Doritos bit sized. Then you eat it with a fork or spoon. When your done, you throw away the bag. Boom, done. Minimal cleanup!

YIELD 6 tacos

INGREDIENTS 1 lb ground beef 1 packet taco seasoning mix tomatoes, chopped lettuce, shredded onion, chopped (I use tops of green onions) black olives, sliced shredded cheese (Mexican blend, cheddar, colby...etc) sour cream taco sauce or picante sauce individual lunch-sized bags of corn chips (We use Doritos Nacho Cheese!)
